Peshawar , April 30,2025: (China Winmdow News) : Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Forests, Climate Change, Environment, and Wildlife, Pir Musawar Khan, has said that China is a long-standing friend of Pakistan that genuinely wants to see Pakistan progress economically and rise above the poverty line. He said this is the reason why the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is moving steadily towards success. He expressed confidence that in the second phase of CPEC, more industries will be established, boosting Pakistan’s exports and creating employment opportunities.

He expressed these views during his visit to the Chinese cultural center, China Window, in Peshawar. During the visit, Pir Musawar Khan toured various galleries, signed the Friendship Wall, and recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book.
He stated that China has always supported Pakistan in difficult times, and Pakistan has also honored this friendship with sincerity. The Special Assistant further remarked that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government hopes for strong cooperation with China, especially in environmental and climate change matters. He emphasized the need to expand collaboration between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and China not only in education but in various sectors, both at the public and private levels. In this regard, people-to-people contact is crucial.
Pir Musawar Khan described China Window as a remarkable center of Pak-China friendship in Peshawar and expressed hope that it would continue to play a vital role in strengthening the bond between the two countries.
