Peshawar June 13,2023: (Shoaib Jameel ) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Ameer and PDM Chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman has said that the previous government brought to power under a conspiracy caused irreparable damage to the relations between Pakistan and China but Pakistan Muslim League and Pakistan People’s Party governments have not only sustained Pakistan-China relations, but the current government is also using all its capabilities for the improvement of Pakistan-China relations.
He was addressing the ceremony held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the CPEC and Belt and Road Initiative here at China Window a Chinese Cultural and Information center in Peshawar. . Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman visited various galleries of China Window, signed the friendship wall and cut the cake on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of CPEC. Talking to the media, PDM Chief said that the Gawadar International Airport should have been built many years ago, but the previous government also blocked its construction. Without naming names, he said that for the first time mega projects stopped and international investment was discouraged.

Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman said that our struggle was for the interest of the country and the nation and we gathered all the political forces on one platform keeping all interests above all. When government weaknesses weaken the state, it is not easy to strengthen it again. The present government is once again trying hard to strengthen the state. Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman said that CPEC is a plan for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, China took the initiative in the political and economic changes in world politics. In 1995, when he was the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, China All the members of the committee were called and informed about the new economic vision of China. Despite being a communist country and a socialist system, China made five cities free economic zones. Trade routes were opened. The vision was to promote their trade all over the world for which they had also determined the routes. After listening to their discussion we suggested trade through Pakistan and after a week of discussion they accepted our proposal. Undoubtedly, this was the beginning of the CPEC project in Pakistan.
He said that friendship with China is undisputed in Pakistan. It was not just a highway, but industrial zones which were the reason for increasing the productivity of various sectors. Energy, communication, industries, modern technology, railways when all the projects started , the journey of development started, the Western world created a third power, with the help of the United States and India, whose agenda was to stop the economic and economic journey of Pakistan. They believed that Pakistan should be used for their purposes and prevent them from advancing. The construction of the port was delayed. However Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman said that the current government is now making renewed efforts to restart the journey of development. China’s confidence has to be restored. The government is using all possible means to restore confidence. China has started numerous projects to stabilize Pakistan’s economy. Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman added that special economic zones will be formed in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan like Rishkai Economic Zone. There will be development in the field and a regional cargo airport will be constructed in this area which the government has expressed its consent. With this initiative, a new era of development and prosperity will begin in the southern districts of the province. PDM Chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rahman, while paying great tribute to the organizers of China Window, said that I am very happy that China Window has become a center of Pakistan-China friendship in Peshawar, which should move forward and we will do everything possible in this regard and full guidance will also be taken from the China Window. He added.
