Peshawar, May 14, 2026: Tanvir Malik, a old friend of China and a seasoned public servant who served in the National Assembly for more than two decades, visited the Chinese cultural and information center, China Window Peshawar, along with Dr. Muhammad Fazal ur Rehman. Tanveer Malik is currently serving as the Personal Staff Officer to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the visit, Tanvir Malik termed Pakistan-China friendship as everlasting and highly valuable. He appreciated the efforts of China Window in promoting cultural harmony and people-to-people connections between the two brotherly nations. He said that China Window is playing an important and constructive role in further strengthening Pak-China friendship through its cultural, educational and informational activities. He stated that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have deep affection and respect for the Chinese people. He particularly highlighted that the province’s business community enjoys strong and productive trade relations with China, which are contributing positively to economic cooperation between the two countries.
Tanvir Malik expressed confidence that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would not only bring economic prosperity to Pakistan but would also play a key role in the economic development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He congratulated the management of China Window for establishing a remarkable cultural center in Peshawar and expressed hope that China Window would continue serving as a strong bridge of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and China.
