Peshawar March 17, 2021 ( China Window News) A 15-day Ancient Silk Road Kingdom of Kucha Xinjiang photo exhibition has come to an end in Peshawar. The exhibition was organized by China Window, a Chinese cultural and information centre based in Peshawar with the support of the cultural section of Islamabad based Embassy of Peoples Republic of China and China Cultural Center. The exhibition was inaugurated by former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra while Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Khalid Mehmood was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
More than a thousand people watched the exhibition and thoroughly enjoyed the pictures of the natural beauty of the city of Kucha, Xinjiang. A large number of men and women including students were among the visitors to the exhibition. The exhibitions have been instrumental in bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together. The organizers expressed confidence that the Chinese Embassy would continue to host such exhibitions at the China Window in the future.
