Peshawar: August 13, 2026: China Window organized a grand ceremony at the Governor House, Peshawar, to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day. The event received widespread appreciation and an overwhelming response from across Pakistan. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi was the chief guest, while a large number of distinguished personalities representing different walks of life attended the ceremony. As part of the celebrations, an Independence Day cake was cut, while prizes and awards were distributed among the successful participants of the Dragon Boat Festival. A new song celebrating Pakistan-China friendship was also formally released on the occasion. Another important highlight of the event was the presentation of a scholarship to student Hamza Ali, providing him an opportunity to pursue higher education.
The ceremony held in Peshawar was of exceptional significance, as it beautifully combined the spirit of Pakistan’s Independence Day with youth encouragement, cultural activities, sports recognition and the promotion of the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.
