Peshawar:August 29, 2025, (China Window News) : Jamiat Ulema -e-Islam’s female Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Aiman Jalil has said that Pakistan- China friendship is growing stronger with each passing moment. She added that following the recent visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Pakistan and his successful meetings with the political leadership, it can be confidently stated that the second phase of CPEC will be successfully accomplished, ushering in a new era of economic development in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
She expressed these views during her visit to the Chinese cultural center “China Window” in Peshawar. JUI’s provincial secretary for information, Abdul Jalil Jan, also accompanied her. The newly elected MPA visited various galleries, signed the “Friendship Wall,” and remarked that the current time demands that Pakistan benefit from the experience of its brotherly neighbor, China, for the improvement of its economy.
Aiman Jalil said that CPEC is Pakistan’s economic lifeline, and with Afghanistan’s inclusion in the project, its significance has further increased. She noted that Peshawar will once again gain access to export markets in Afghanistan and the Central Asian states, earning valuable foreign exchange for Pakistan.
She further emphasized the need to strengthen people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and China, suggesting that delegations from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should also be sent to China so they can witness China’s progress firsthand.
Aiman Jalil described “China Window” in Peshawar as a remarkable hub of Pakistan-China friendship and expressed confidence that this center will serve as a strong medium for further strengthening ties between the two countries in the future.
