Additional Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League KP Senator Bahramand Khan Tangi has said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is playing an active role in further strengthening Pakistan–China friendship, and he is confident that the celebrations marking the 57th anniversary of Pak–China friendship this year will clearly demonstrate that the bond between the two countries is strong and will grow even stronger in the future.
Speaking during his visit to China Window in Peshawar, he said that PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif holds the distinguished honor of initiating a project like CPEC and inviting Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Pakistan. Senator Bahramand Tangi stated that Pak–China friendship is time-tested and that China has always supported Pakistan, which is why the people of Pakistan hold China and the Chinese people in high regard.
He added that during his six-year tenure as a senator, he consistently spoke on the floor of the House about Pak–China friendship and described China as Pakistan’s trusted and proven friend. Terming China Window a noteworthy center of Pak–China friendship, he expressed happiness that China Window has not only gained recognition across Pakistan but is now known worldwide. He appreciated the organizers for raising public awareness about China and for playing a positive and constructive role in strengthening Pak–China friendship.
