Peshawar: November 22, 2023 ( China Window News)Caretaker Provincial Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aamir Durrani has said that the friendship between Pakistan and China is higher than the Himalayas, deeper than the oceans and sweeter than honey and we are iron brothers. He expressed these views during his visit to China Window, a Chinese cultural center established in Peshawar and at the ceremony of distributing certificates amongst students of Chinese language learning course. Secretary Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Dawood Khan was also present on the occasion. Aamir Durrani said that China has always proved to be a tested and proud friend of Pakistan. In the present era, while work is being done for the improvement of the economy all over the world, the CPEC project in Pakistan is undoubtedly beneficial for Pakistan’s economy. Minister said China has not only paid the right of friendship but also provided this opportunity to the economic development of Pakistan and our industrialists by starting the CPEC project. Aamir Durrani said that CPEC is not less than a challenge for us and we need to turn this challenge into a great opportunity. We have to keep in mind that it is the nations that take advantage of opportunities and there are countless opportunities for our young generation that they need to take advantage of. The caretaker provincial minister added that it is also commendable that more than 200 people have completed the initial course of Chinese language at China Window and also offering scholarships to teach Chinese language in collaboration with Harbin Engineering University. These initiatives will undoubtedly benefit our students who want to pursue higher education in various Chinese universities. Aamir Durrani described China Window as the state of the art center of Pak-China friendship and said that the provincial government will cooperate fully with the organizers.
Addressing the ceremony Secretary LG&RDD Dawood Khan said that Pakistan-China friendship is taken as an example all over the world and after the CPEC project, not only Pakistan, but especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a new economic development. The era will begin and there will be prosperity in the province. He said that the need of the hour is to take full advantage of the CPEC project and move towards technology transformation in the second phase, which will boost the industries in Pakistan and Pakistan will also enter the new era of modern technology. He stressed the importance of Chinese language and said that our students need to have access to Chinese language. Later, the caretaker provincial under Amir Durrani distributed the certificates amongst the student’s .Earlier, Caretaker Provincial Minister Amir Durrani and Secretary Dawood Khan visited various galleries of China Window, signed the friendship wall and recorded their impressions in the guest book.
