District Mayor Mardan Himayat Ullah Mayar has said that Pakistan also needs to benefit from China’s economic development. People’s quality of life can be improved only through the development of the economy. He expressed these views on the occasion of his visit to China Window, a Chinese cultural center established in Peshawar. He visited various galleries of China Window, signed the friendship wall and recorded his comments in the guest book.
The mayor of the second largest city of the KP province, Himayat Ullah Mayar, said that economic development in Pakistan is the only solution to the problems of the people. We need to take advantage of CPEC because this project is an example of friendship between the two countries and a project of public happiness. He said that through CPEC, Pakistan can increase exports not only to Afghanistan but also to Central Asian countries. The valuable foreign exchange of Pakistan can be significantly increased too. Himayat Ullah Mayar said that he hopes that, apart from Chinese investors, Pakistani investors in China should also invest in CPEC. He said that with the establishment of Rashakai Economic Zone, where factories will be set up in this first Special Economic Zone of Pakistan, he hopes that technology transformation will also be promoted. Himayat Ullah said that people to people between the two countries should be improved, and Chinese tourists can be attracted towards religious tourism. He described the establishment of China Window in Peshawar as an important center of friendship between the two countries and expressed confidence that it will have very encouraging results in the future. He expressed good wishes on behalf of the people of Mardan while sending a message of friendship to the Chinese people and the government.
